Hi,

I'm kind of getting fed up of backing up stuff, it's so time consuming. Is there some way of making the computer do this automatically? Such as me placing files that i want backed up in some folder and the computer backing it up automatically to cd or hd or something?

There's a backup program built into XP which may or may not work for you. I've heard good things about Acronis, but I've never used it.

I do mine manually, but a Google search turned up quite a few:

Look at a program called Second Copy. It will backup all your files at a time and date of your choosing. It will not automatically back up to CD but another HD or partition is fine.
