Hi,
I would like to know why Windows XP has nothing in the autoexec.bat file.
Thus, if I would like to run a file, for example c:\temp.exe how woul I run it by inserting commands in autoexec.bat ??
And how would it be if I want to delete it.
Thanks a lot for your help.

xp does not use autoexec.bat.
but, try inserting the command , see what happens.
you can always boot into safe mode and remove it
