Hi
I am trying to create a bootable Dvd that will give me the option to ghost a PC or Exit.

My boot disk works until where the menu comes up then i get a syntax error. here is a copy of my autoexec.bat files. Any reason why i get the syntax error and how do i fix it. I am new to this.

autoexec.bat:

@ECHO OFF
set EXPAND=YES
SET DIRCMD=/O:N
cls
set temp=c:\
set tmp=c:\
path=a:\

IF "%config%"=="NOCD" GOTO QUIT
LH MSCDEX.EXE /D:oemcd001 /L:D
echo.
IF "%config%"=="SETUP_CD" goto AUTOSETUP
GOTO QUIT

:AUTOSETUP
set CDROM=FOO23
FINDCD.EXE
if "%CDROM%"=="FOO23" goto QUIT
path=d:\;%CDROM%\
%CDROM%

goto QUIT

:QUIT

:menu
cls
echo 1.Continue
echo 2.Cancel
set /p choice=?:
if %choice% equ 1 goto Continue
if %choice% equ 2 goto QUIT
echo Invalid choice. & pause & goto menu

:Continue
D:\
ghost.exe
exit

Also you should change the

path=d:\;%CDROM%\

to

path=%path%,d:\;%CDROM%\

so that you append to your existing path instead of replacing it.

I have made all the changes recommended but i still get a syntax error at the point where it is suppose to give the menu options ie:

:menu
cls
echo 1.Continue
echo 2.Cancel
set /p choice=?:
if %choice% equ 1 goto Continue
if %choice% equ 2 goto QUIT
echo Invalid choice. & pause & goto menu

any further help will be appreciated.

What version of Windows are you running because this code worked just fine on mine?
