Autodesk Map 5/Win XP Pro

Hello, when i run Autodesk Map 5 under Win XP Pro as "normal user" i get the error-message "On start-up: Failed to update the system registry. Please try using REGEDIT". By running Autodesk Map as "power user" there's no error message. But we won't give the users in our NT-based network local PowerUser-rights due to security guidelines of our company. We even gave the users full access to the installation path and the registry-branch "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Autodesk", but the error-message still remains.
