Hello people,
What I want to know is if its possible, under Windows XP, to connect to a pptp connection on boot. At the moment the client has to open the connectiod and hit connect to open the VPN.
If it is possible does anyone have a link to getting this setup.

Somasaur: when you want to make a VPN connection, you'll need to have established your regular network connection first.
if you're using a DHCP server, this means you'll need to receive your DHCP-assigned IP address before running the VPN.
if your network connection is not established first, the VPN system will not know what IP address to communicate with.one method for assigning dynamic IP addresses is to configure your machine to DHCP boot, see:
