Windows XP update keeps down loading same file over and over. As it now stands it has downloaded (KB967715) ...issue with auto run features, 30 times. Why?

Are you downloading it every time and installing it or is it saying you have an update and your saying you don't want to install it. If you say you don't want to install it you want to also say don't show me this update again.

I had the automatic downloads set, but it still kept coming up. You'd think that MS update would scan the system for downloaded files and see that it has already been downloaded. Anyway, I have turned off the auto downloads. Can I delete the repetive downloads except for the most recent?
