Hi, would anyone know how to have a XP machine auto shutdown at a specific time.

There might be an easier way but here's one suggestion. Go to http://www.karenware.com/powertools... and get the showstopper program then run that in Windows task scheduler.

AMP WinOff

I haven't use either; FWIW, I usually have good luck with things off of SoftPedia. You'll find more like it if you google search "windows shutdown timer".
