auto hide taskbar

April 23, 2009 at 09:34:54
Specs: Windows XP, 1.5GHz/256MHz
When I right click the taskbar and hit properties, I check the auto hide taskbar. It works fine for that session. However, when I shutdown the computer it "forgets" the setting for the next time. When I start the computer again, I must check the auto hide button again. I tried changing the registry manually but it still doesn't work for every computer start. Thanks for any help!

acesbro, After you choose that option are you clicking Apply/OK?

You could go to the link below and scroll down to Line 54 (right column) and click on "Save Settings on Exit" to download a reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
