Recently I have had problems with the audio of
my laptop. There is no audio on any web sight,
DVD audio is very poor and I cannot adjust the
volume of the computer (though Media player
volume functions fine). On the other hand,
there is no problem playing CDs or mp3s. I
have reloaded drivers for the audio card and
multimedia. What could it be?

Ritch, possible you're using 2 different critters for playback and 1 needs a driver update?

Thanks for the reply Ed. After I read it I did a scan and no out of
date driver turned up related to anything audio. How would I know
which critter might be the problem?
