Using Yamaha DXGS sound card and it WAS working. Now, unit show up in Control Panel Sound and audio Devices with no problems indicated under Hardware tab -showed 'device is working'. Under Volume tab - shows 'No audio device'. Under Audio tab- all options are greyed out. Did a complete reinstall of XP - no better. Uninstalled card - let XP find it & install it. Goes thru that 'Setting restore point' screen & takes a very long time to complete -almost like system froze. Also removed sound card, reenable onboard Via sound system (thru BIOS). XP installed the Via Codec but still showed 'No audio device'. Don't kno what else to try. Help. Kids have been using Kazaa lately
