I'm looking for a good audio player to use in XP that just plays audio files and has no extra bells and whistles. I've previously always used WMP but now would like a player for mp3 and wav that is very low on system resources and doesn't contain all the added WMP features that I never use anyway. It's also gotta have that XP look about it.

I heard BSPlayer is good and low on its system resources. Any suggestions? Thanks if advance

www.winamp.com

bsplayer does use less resources compared to other media players, but was designed for videos.

winamp is designed for music. resources is generally less then 5, and at idle times 0. still, it can be tweaked in winamp options to best match your system specs.
