CPU/Ram: amd2000+/512

reinstalled xp,but no sound,got pci soundcard and when went device manager it said problem with multimeadia audio controller with yellow exclamation mark,tried hardware wizard and finds card but dont install drivers saying there a problem

Skip the wizard and install the sound drivers yourself and reboot. Then see if the yellow exclamation is gone.
