Hi I've been getting this error messageon and off the last few weeks: Attention
Out of Range
H: .3KHz V. 390.8HzIt comes up randomly in Windows XP when I signed in on my computer and when the screen saver is up. Its unpredictable, I've seen this error message before when playing games and it has something to do with the refresh rate, but I've tried changing the rate from 85 to 60 and back. I've also tried the horizontal/vertical sync in the ATI Manager.
Does anybody else have any other suggestions? I do have the latest drivers on my ATI Radeon 9550SE AGP card, its 8X. When it comes up it totally freezes my computer requiring me to reset the computer.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Turn off all power. Disconnect the monitor from the graphics card. turn the monitor on. Do you get the same "Out of Range" message on screen? (You should) If so then your problem could be faulty cable, faulty connector or faulty graphics card. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach him to fish and his wife will never forgive you.
