ferz, Here's what I found doing a search. Atiptaxx.exe: Control panel for the ATI series of video cards allowing access to such features as display resolution, colour depth, etc. The link below claims it's not needed to be running at startup. http://www.greatis.com/regrun3useless.htm#atiptaxx.exe HTH Tufenuf
