Hi,

First of all this is my comp specs:

Microsoft Windows XP
Home edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 1

Power Spec
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz
512MB of RAM

ATI GRADEON 9800 Pro

In my task bar i have normally running:

Panda
SWdoctor
Messenger
Deamon tools

The problem:

When i try to play a 3d game on my comp, the screen get all black and the green light of the monitor becomes orange (wich means it's idle). Before it gets like that i can notice various pixels in the game that are only white or black (sometimes red). When i try to push the button to turn off my monitor it works. But when i pressed again to turn it on the light stays orange. This leaves me with no coice but to shut down my comp. When i turn the comp back on everything works fine.

Yesterday I reformated my computer. Wiht the config you have seen at the beguinning. I installed black and white 2 to test, see ifthe problem persisted. It did. When i choose my creature i notice red pixels around them.

Please tell what is going on. I have yhe ATI driver installed but not the ATI Catalyst center

Baranov, pure SWAG, lots of games are memory hungry and demand that most things running in the background don't. See if you can cut down on what runs while playing the game.
HTH.
