Specs: Windows XP, AMD Phenom II N830 Triple Core
So I recently installed XP to dual boot with Windows 7 on my laptop. I got the network drivers in perfectly but I can't find my video card driver ANYWHERE!!! It's a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, my laptop is a Gateway NV53A. If you can find any info that would be awesome! I have looked everywhere so don't give me those annoying google searches of exactly what I just said because I have tried that a million flippin' times. PLEASE HELP!!!!

The driver will only be available from Gateway Support who do not provide one:

The problem is the Laptop is designed and configured to run Windows7 not 10 year old XP !

Download the desktop drivers

Extract the package, I like WinRAR

Go to your device manager, select your video card, right click and update driver.

Now Browse for the driver, let me pick form a list, click have disk, now find the ini file of the driver in the stuff that you extracted.

Make sure it is for the HD 4250, Windows will bitch about the driver, just click next.

And see if that works.

There is another way of editing the driver files and putting in your hardware ID and such to get the full cat control center to work, but who needs it.
