Atapi.sys error

After a whole week of formatting, i keep getting the same error in atapi.sys causing the blue screen. Anyone know how or why this oculd be happening, The hard drive has been formatted by windows setup and been LLF'd and even used Kill Disk on it to get it back to factory incase of bad sectors, keep getting the same error. Any help??
