Every time I try to load a webpage in .asp format, I get the option to save or run the page. When it has downloaded I get a message saying that windows doesn't know which program to use to run it! This has only just started happening. An example is the 'More emoticons' page in msn messenger.

The ASP file extension is not limited to one type of file. You can check here for you info:

http://filext.com/alphalist.php?extstart=%5EA

Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, File Types and scroll down to ASP. Left click and click on change. It gives two options. Select the Web Service. Windows will go online and get what you are looking for, just make sure you are connected.

I tried this, and I get a link to download Microsoft Visual Interdev, which is not a driver, but seems to be a full development program, which is not going to help me open .asp web pages.
