just wondering.. when i view icons in a folder, arranging them by name, the folders are never organized at the top like in win98. is there a way to make all folders at the top and still have the other files arranged by name? (Win xp pro btw)

Just do arrange icons by name and the folders will be on top. In which floder are u geting this error?

its in all folders. document folders and windows ones.

Arrange by Name usually arranges them nicely with Folders at the top - try doing that and then Refresh

Otherwise don't know why it's not behaving properly for you

try aranging by type this arranges different files types in alphabetical order with folders first

i already tried all of that before i posted. ill just put up with it.
