In one of my folders it has tons of videos, pics, exes, and documents. Iv always been able to arrange them by date modified. But the other day i move most of the music files I had in it. Now it is treating the folder as a media folder, will only let me sort it by stuff like artist, track #, year, album stuff like that. What im wondering is how to i put it back to sorting by date modidired.
I have tried right clickong on the folder and then clicking on the Customize tab, and setting it to be treated like a documents folder since all the others are media types. plz help me.

Go to the folder above the problem one, right click on the problem folder and select Properties and then Customize and there you can select a template for folder type eg. Documents, Pictures, Music Files etc.

Vash_The_Stampede, I had the exact same problem as you. Here is how I solved it: When you are inside your folder, go to VIEW, then CHOOSE DETAILS... Once inside, you can choose the headers you wish to view, and even the order you want them to appear in. Simply select Date Modified, and voila! Hope this helps.
