Arrange Icons by Comments in My Com

Comment:
I have noticed in My Computer it is possible to arrange icons by "Comments". This is the only place I can find that option, and interestingly enough, I cannot find where I am supposed to be able to add a comment to an item.
If you choose to show your icons in groups, it becomes apparent the comment is the header for that group. If you try it you will see the shared documents folders have the comment "Unknown".
Is this feature actually implimented somewhere, or something Microsoft forgot to remove (or finish)?

On my computer, it isn't so apparent that the comment is the group header.
It appears more to be the (A:), (C:), (D:), etc.
Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

Well, it appears you can arrange icons by any way you please, as long as you do into the properties of sorting by Detail, and checkmark the way you wish to sort by. Once you have that particular detail selected, it appears in the "Arrange Icons By" menu.
Handy thing to know, however I'm disappointed that only files can have comments via the Summary tab in the properties dialogue box, and folders and/or drives cannot.

This is a third party utility created by JP Software - the same vendor that created 4DOS. If the price is no object to you, I think you will find it best suited for your needs.
