arrange folders by size

when i click on arrange icons by size in windows explorer it doesn't arrange the folders by size, only alphabetically, how do i arrange the folders by size?

Simple answer is you cannot. The over heads of calculating the space used by each folder would be to great. On a modern hard disk with hundreds of folders it would take ages to calculate the size of each folder.

There are many freeware programs that can show you folder sizes. I really like Scanner, though it's probably not what you want.

thx for the replies, i found a program called treesize that im using that does the job.
