Has anyone run into a problem when arrange files in windows XP? Here's my problem and only happen on my windows xp station. I have some files in a folder let say the folder has the following files:
When I try to arrange them by name that's what I get. On my other station when I arrange by name it sort the files out and get the following: 1----.prt 10000.cdk 10010.cdk 2----.prt 20001.cdk 20032.cdk 3----.prt 30010.cdk 30020.cdk 31000.cdk
How/where do I change the setting so it sort the files accordingly?

XPU,
Now there's a non-solution.
Wind, You didn't say what the other station is. If they are both Winders 9x ~ XP it may be 'regional' or 'language' settings.
===================================== If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

My bad - you're correct. I tried it and it didn't show it the way the OP wanted. What's the solution?

Sorry for the confusion, my windows xp is the one that doesn't arrange the item in a folder. The one that arrange is a Windows 2000. I heard rumor that in windows xp internet exporer has something to do with the way the item get arrange, needless to say I have found nothing.
