Comment:

I've been searching here for awhile and have not found a specific answer for this.

When a "Browse" window comes up, all the files are mixed up instead of arranged by name. For example, when I go to open a file in Photoshop and the browse window comes up, I click on a folder and the files are mixed up. I can choose arrange by name, but when I go back to it again, they are not arranged anymore.

The files ARE arranged by name in windows explorer, it is just when i'm selecting a file in the browse window when they are not.

I've read I should go to a folder that is how I want it to be and select the "make all folders like this one" option and "remember folder..." whatever, but I do not want to have all my folders displayed the same. I have some folders with thumbnails, some with music files, etc.

Is there a solution for this?

Thanks.
