Hi, I am trying to find out do I need put purchase Direct x 9, or can i install it for free? I want to play my Batman Asylum, but i have to have Direct X 9. please tell me where I can go to install for free, I get a lot pages with free download of Direct X , but when I run it, all I get is driver scan. is that the same think? can someone help please and tell me how I can get it. thanks

Direct X9c was built in to SP2 for XP. Released in August 6, 2004.
