Are old 98 files deletable under XP?

Comment:
I recently installed XP upgrade over 98 without the dual-boot option.
I would like to rid my HDD of the 98 files to free up more space.
Are the old 98 files hidden? I can't seem to access / find them. How do I go about getting rid of the 98 files?
Also, are there any XP files that can be deleted after installation to free up space?
Someone suggested the dllcache folder under system32, but I searched, and cannot find it.

You should really think about doing a clean install of Win XP (includes formating your Hard Disk). Just because you have the upgrade version of XP doesnt mean you cant install it as a full version, if you decide to do this sometime durring the installation it will ask you for proof of a previous version of Windows, at this point you would put in your Win 9x cd (Just for verifacation that you have an older version) and then continue to load Win XP. Good luck
