days ago i made the mistake of removing permissions for everyone to one of my drives. I read up on the net and found out i can take control of the drive loged in as administrator. I then reapply the drive's permission to "Everyone" in the security tap in properties. but the problem is, although the non-admintistrators can access the drive, all the folders and files aren't accessable to non-admintistratoers, for each files i have to go in properties and set the permission.

my question is, is there a way to apply the security setting to all and every folder and files in a drive?

Change the properties on the drive icon. Just right click on the drive in My Computer, go the the security tab and apply your permissions. That will apply them to all the files/folders on the entire drive. Hope this helps
