Ever since I bought my new video card whenever I have a full screen application like games start they keep minimizing. It takes several tries to get them to stay open and not minimize. What can I do to stop this?

Try updating your graphics drivers (from the manufarcturere's website if you can manage it). A lot of cards ship with outdated drivers...what card did you buy?
