I I leave my computer on for a couple of days after a while when I start an application it stays in the task bar until I right click on it and pick move then hit any of the arrow keys?

So if you left click the application doesn't maximize?

Right click the application Shortcut,
then click Properties,
on the Shortcut tab, next to the word RUN,
make sure it says something other than 'Minimize'.
