Comment:

I have my Apple LaserWriter Select hooked up through the LPT1 port on my Windows XP box. The test page prints fine, but when I go to print with any other application it send the file to the printer (as I can tell from the print monitor window) but then the Apple printer just sits idle with the green power light blinking. I know there is a connection established because it does not blink until I send the file to be printed, and it prints the test print page (sometimes). The printer has worked fine in the past but I have been switching it between machines. All the correct drivers are installed.

Thanks!
