Comment:

too many times, i get the stupid "internet explorer has encounterd a problem and needs to close". when i check the thing, and never send an error report, it says that it was caused by 3129_appcompat.bd.
i assume that this means that bit defender is being stupid, and the only app that i figure it wouldn't be compatible with is the avast antivirus.
since the avast is the best there is, my question is, what would happen if i got rid of the bit defender completely?

Why not use Firefox? Or, if you're a die-hard IE fan, have you tried an IE Repair?

What a shame" - Shinedown

i don't like firefox because i copy too many pics and firefox won't do it properly.
how do you do an ie repair? i have six by the way, since i have no interest in 7.
i don't know much, so, is a repair simple enough?
