Motherboard GA-7DX (latest BIOS)
256 DDR

I'm finding it impossible to get xp to recognise my Apollo 2100u USB printer.

I plug it in and it comes up with USB device not recognise....etc.

Sometimes it finds the device installs USB PRINTER SUPPORT DRIVER then leaves it unconfigurable. Then I reboot and its an unknown device again.

I've unistalled drivers, I even stupidly reinstalled xp.

Could it be my motherboard driver(s)software?

It can't be my USB port because I use a USB cable modem and I checked it in both ports, and I also checked USB cable etc.

Also I took the printer to a freinds and it installed immediately...

Please help me. Thanks Jaye
