Apache.exe uses lot of memory !

CPU/Ram: 1.6 Gz 1Gb RAM

I have got a windows XP PC with 1.6 Gz and 1 Gb RAM but still my PC performs very slow as Apache.exe uses lot of memory so what is this exe used for and how to control it help me

"Apache" is server software, so unless you or anyone else uses the PC as a server, get rid of it.

You should be able to find it in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
