AOL Info Problem-b.exe

Alrite, I did the Ctrl+Alt+Delete, looked for b.exe found it in processes, stopped the process and then Searched for it. Alot of programs and things came up with b.exe in them but I deleted the little window thing with a plain b next to it. So far my info and everything hasn't been altered for AOL but I'll just see. If there is anything else I have to do let me know. Thanks :)

You should Dowload Ad-aware 6.0 if you don't already have it and then run it - it will delete everything that has to do with B.exe + get rid of a lot of other crap off your computer.

Ad-Aware didn't find the b.exe problem and it is still showing up in the profile. Was it a registry search you did for b.exe or a file search?

b.exe is under HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run disguised as an Anti Virus Program. Delete the whole key and it will stop. (Maybe also under win.ini) After reboot open the profile window in AIM and delete the message (do not click on the link!!).
