Hi,
WHEN I AM TRYING TO OPEN DISPLAY PROPERTIES OR IF I TRY TO OPEN DEVICE MANAGER I AM GETTING ERROR "THE APPLICATION IS NOT A VALID WINDOWS IMAGE.PLEASE CHECK AGAINST YOUR WINDOWS INSTALLATION".I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN DEVICE MANAGER NOT DISPLAY PROPERTIES.
GOT ANY CLUE WHY IT'S HAPPENING & ANY SOLUTION????????????????????

'not a valid windows image' sounds like a very strange error, is there some kind of protection software installed on the pc? (thinking of some pc's in schools with 'ClassMate' software)

Yes it's really a strange error.There is no protection software installed in the computer.It's a home computer so only basic softwares are there.
YET TO FIND A SOLUTION.
