There is no way of taking a screen shot of the BIOS screen. There is nothing loaded that is capable of writing to a hard disk.

When you exit the BIOS it is saved to CMOS memory and read again when the computer restarts.

You can try using a digital camera to take pictures of your monitor ;).

Like Frosty said, it was probably taken with a digital camera.

Like I said, there is nothing in the BIOS capable of writing to the hard disk. You need an operating system for that. There is no operating system present when the BIOS screen is displayed.

Think about it. Hard disks come in a variety of formats from FAT 12,16,32, NTFS, HPFS, and the various shades of Linux. The BIOS would need to know about all of them in order to write to the hard disk in such a way that it can be recovered.

Look at this. You can even see the curvature of the screen.

this begs the question why would you want a screen shot of the bios? Record the settings? Some bios's have the option of backing up to a 2nd bios [same chip] as protection from bios virus's. Maybey yours has that option.
