Is there anyway to remove the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and reinstall it again? I am having troubles downloading windows updates, it just freezes when attempting to download updates. I'm pretty sure this is caused by the BITS service because I tried to start the service manually and it failed to start. IT had a service-specific code of 2147942402. I have already checked endlessly for viruses and spyware but the system is clean. Any help or advices?
