Just having small problems sorting out a laptop and using MSCONFIG I'm eliminating all possibilities - I'm down to an unknown file - 4mtcsb.exe. Anyone else got this or know what it relates to? Disabling it doesn't seem to have any effect but I'd like to know anything about what it is. Regards JohnR

I shall get rid of, but it's just my curiosity as I've never seen it before, Google only brings up a couple of instances which lead nowhere and it's found its way into the System32 folder - just like to know why

I'm pretty sure it's virus free - up to date Norton is permanently installed & I ran housecall quite recently. Spybot & Adaware both ignore it. It may be a genuine program, but nobody seems to know what it is or where it's come from.
