Good morning all, am I the only one having difficulty in trying to access their Yahoo acct.? After 2 hours of trying, they "locked" my account for 12 hours, even though I have continually entered my correct I.D. and Password. Worse yet, I can't find any link to try and reach Yahoo customer service to try and straighten this mess out. Has anyone else run into this, and does anyone know of a phone no., or e-mail address so I can reach customer service? I am expecting important mail, and it really blows when you can't even reach their customer service dept. Thanks much, Tommyo

Tommyo:
Just checked Yahoo and several of my accounts--no problems.
Also, glad to hear you got rid of the infamous leak test!

Thanks, I did numerous McAffe scans - it is finally gone! Boy, I've got a damn mess here; my Yahoo is all screwed up, and I can't even contact their damn customer service dept! I'm furious - they could at least let me contact them; now they locked my dang e-mail acct for 12 hours! This is stupid, because I can't even get in touch with them! I should have stayed in bed.....

Tommyo:
Wish I could offer more help on contacting Yahoo customer service (such as it is), but the only thing I've found to try is:
http://help.yahoo.com/
But I'm sure you've already tried it.

Thanks, their "help" link(s) is very humorous, it lets you click on to various info topics, but nowhere is the option to contact them. I even went through the process of changing my password, through their link "forgot your password?"; even though I know my valid password. Even with the change, which I shouldn't had to do, they locked my acct! Now, I don't know what the heck the password is. Kevin> Thanks for letting me post this, I know it's off topic, but I'm hoping someone may have run into this dilemma, and can maybe shed some light. Tommyo

I don't know if this will help but I found this info on the net. Someone's yahoo account was hacked and they were looking to contact them and someone posted this.
I got my old Yahoo account back...There is a phone number buried deeply in the copywrite notice. I called that number and was given this one...1 408-349-3300. They sent me a temp password and corrected my account information. If any of you ever need this kind of help with yahoo...You got it now!!!

Thanks so much Mary for your response; I did finally find a link for "feedback" questions, so I e-mailed my situation to them on that link - I don't know if it is the correct place to contact them, but I tried it. If I get no response on that, I'm going to try your suggestion. Again, thanks for your help. Tommyo

Thanks Clark, I didn't mean to not thank you; we both posted at the same time. At this writing, I'm still balled up - I'm about to try and call Yahoo. Thanks very much, Tommyo
