Can any one help me, I have windows XP Professional. But one of the files are corrupt the being 'CONTROLS.MAN' can some one please E-Mail me a copy, it is found in this location of the XP CD
D:\I386\ASMS\6000\MSFT\WINDOWS\COMMON\CONTROLS\CONTROLS.MAN

Why don't you try doing a system restore to a date when everything was working or else try doing a reinstal with repair.

Eric I was trying to do a clean install with out this file it would not work.
