Try using windows explorergo to start and the all programs and look for windows explorer

You said "list of ALL the files in your hard drive in one window?????". Assuming you meant "One" window all at once. dir /w and dir /p will show you folders and filenames, but not all files at once.

Who's being negative? I answered your question. Individual interpretation aside, I stand by my answer.

Wasn't there a way in win31 to do that? Something like show all files instead of show folders?? Think so.
