i was wondering if anyone was aware of any software that will give you a list of ALL the files in your hard drive in one window????? or at least non-system files..

Try using windows explorergo to start and the all programs and look for windows explorer

In one window? There would tens of thousands of filenames. So, I don't think that's possible.

You said "list of ALL the files in your hard drive in one window?????". Assuming you meant "One" window all at once. dir /w and dir /p will show you folders and filenames, but not all files at once.

Wasn't there a way in win31 to do that? Something like show all files instead of show folders?? Think so.
