Comment:

I have been very annoyed lately with my Laptop constantly and randomly crashing.

After disabling Microsoft Antispyware (BETA) and My Screensaver (Single picture, My Slideshow), they seemed to have stopped.

Could MS Antispyware have been causing these crashes?
Please let me know of your experiences.

If it is the cause I will almost certainly get rid of it, at least till it becomes a major build.

Acer Travelmate 512T, Intel Celeron 336MHZ, 256MB (2x 128MB Sticks), Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (XP runs surprisingly fast!)

Just disable Antispyware from the startup list and only open it when you need it.
