I think most anti-virus programs (including free ones like AVG) will detect key loggers. Most anti-spyware (Sachs as Ad-Aware) will also detect them. Finally, there are several programs available that will show you what files are being written to in real time. Hmmmmm, it don't think so that anti spy-ware or anti virus removes "Key logger" software from the system, as far as my knowledge is concern there are special anti key loggers software to trace the key logger's from the system.
