someone has downloaded something on my computer that seems to allow the most annoying pop ups every 2 mins when im in internet explorer when i open favorites there is a list above the real favorites of links and bookmarks which i believe to have come from a site called casino 888.com and i cant delete them or in anyway remove them. i tried to add or remove programmes and it said error but the icon disappeared from list has anyone got tips on how get these things off. ive turned the pop up stopper to high but this is not stopping them

Hello,
If you don't have any pop-up blocker, you should install it, as such programs not only block the pop up even remove.
Recommend to think about safety of your PC.

Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File
Also down that page is another method, rather than doing
the HOSTS file, of placing the "DNS Client" Service in
MANUAL (if you are the only user,
and not part of a domain).
Better and easier to do the DNS client thing.
Also that eliminates one svchost.exe process in Task Manager.

You have an infection of adware/spyware. You need to download a free program such as (my favorite) adaware. You can download it at the following link:
http://www.download.com/3405-8022-5153545.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5
Once you download and install it update it and run a full scan. Then check all of the boxes and finish. Then restart. Your problem should be fixed and your computer should be faster as a result.
