I have a really annoying problem...Whenever I am browsing the internet I get a full screen pop up about every 5 pages or so that I visit. I run Ad-Aware and Spybot daily and they do not help. I have Spyware Blaster and CWShredder as well. Does anyone know what is going on?? I also have Norton AV 2004 Pro which I run weekly. Every week it detects like 20+ adware on my computer but it says that it fails to delete them. Is there a better virus protection out there that can get rid of all my problems?? Please help!

Did you immunize your PC after running spybot?
Also, if you're using the XP firewall, scrap it and try Sygate free home edition or Zone Alarm. Both work very well, but my preference is Sygate.

Have you tried Hijack This? It's another good spyware program that you can download for free.

I also forgot, Avast! free home edition is a great free AV program and another is AVG 6.0 which is free also. I switched to Avast! because my AVG wouldn't d/l automaticly anymore on-line, whereas Avast! gives totally free up-dates and does it while you surf. Great e-mail protection also.

Norton can't delete the files because they are in use. Reboot in safe mode and delete the items or let norton do it in safe mode.

Check msconfig, startup for unwanted items and un-check them

Helping or being helped, What's the question?
