AMD processor questions??

hi folks
just wanted to know
is the amd duron 1200 pro same as intel celeron 1.2
please shed light into this
also can somebody refer to me a site, or a link where there are comparisons between intel, amd and via processor or intel and amd
duron, athlon,p4,celeron,via
everything.

The celeron is slower than a pentium 3 and the duron is in between the two, almost matching the pentium 3's speed, for about one third of the price :P

The Duron 1200 is the faster processor. AMD processors have always out performed the intel processors (since the K6's anyway). On average an AMD chip will rate 25% over an Intel chip of the same speed

AMD is faster and cost less. Your motherboard will only take the cpu that matches its socket
