AMD constipation

Ok, I think i have over teched this...

I have an athelon xp 1700+
Before it was only running at 1.4ghz, now 1.1 ... my bios doesnt really help me set it much either... jow can i get it to the best out-put?

Make sure the FSB is set to 133MHz. It sounds like it's been changed to 100MHz.
The Athlon XP 1700+ should run at 1.47GHz.

The 1700 is just a PR rating. That processor isn't designed to run at 1700. Set the FSB to 133 and get it back to the 1.4, which sounds about right.

Yeah it was on 133mhz, but now it seems like its back to normal... maybe it was just constipated ^_^
