AMD 3000 vs Pentium 4 630

Specwise the P4 prlly outperforms the 3000+ by a few hairs, but i would still get the AMD instead, cheaper, 64 bit capability and will run pretty close to just as fast as the p4, my boss has a 2.8 p4 HT, with a 9800 pro and a gig of ram, and i have teh 3000+ with the 9800 pro, and a gig of ram (both 400) and i beat him on 3dMark by about 800 points, but he doesn't have the 630 so i couldn't tell ya the specs...
