Always running at 100% comp usage!!

as soon as i turn my computer on its at 100% usage and goes SLOWWWWWWWWWW and it is ALWAYS at 100% usage!!! IT NEVER STOPS!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!
i think there might be some hidden program running but i dont know

1)partition ur harddisk 2)save all the important data into ur new partition. 3)format ur pc.
this is the best way for me... after format remember to install antivirus so that this kind of problem (100% usage)wont happen again

pull up task manager "CTRL Shift esc" and click the processes tab. look down the list 2 see what's burning up your cpu time. there may be a faulty program 2 uninstall.

I agree with Christopher. I had the same problem at school on an XP machine. The error reporting for windows was running at 97% constantly. Open task manager's processes tab and find the executable thats working overtime on the proc. Then you might want to do a search for the file to see where it leads to and kill it.
