go into control panel>users accounts>change the way users log on or off>make sure "use welcome screen" is ticked.
you won't have to click Ctrl+Alt+Del.
If you are the only user, you can disable the guest account and won't have to log onto windows at all. It *should* just log you straight in upon boot.
hope this helps

Or you can Download TWEAK UI from Micro$oft and select auto Logon

Ctrl + AltGr + Del works for me and is easily accomplished with 'one arm' :-)

Do you have long fingers mattie? Hehe. My son has no problems using one hand to easily hit all three of the keys at once - I have shorter fingers, so have to concentrate a little more.

i'm terribly sorry for your 'shortcomings' :-)
however, using the xp welcome screen does not require the 'three-finger salute'. you simply click on your user logo and enter your password.

I can press Left Alt + Left Ctrl + Del with one hand!
But here's an alternative that works for me (on a computer joined to a domain): Press WinKey+U this should start the Utility Manager. You can use your mouse to select the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK). Click the Ctrl button on the OSK, the Ctrl button, and the delete button. Your password dialog box will appear. After closing the OSK, you should be able to type your password.

I was wondering: is pukka on a network at work? If so, security settings may not allow any changes. If pukka is talking about a computer at work, pukka should talk to one of the ITs and see if an alternative is available.
"Left Alt + Left Ctrl + Del with one hand" - WOW! Hehe - maybe a 12" laptop keyboard!
